This blog is about Indian food (and some other cuisines) that you ate, and liked or disliked, loved or hated. Its mostly about food that is minced :) but the opinions and words are not.

Keep in mind that good food is a matter of taste. Your taste and the food's taste. Good and authentic are not the same thing, and are not correlated. Tex-Mex and American Italian is good but not necessarily authentic (ask an Italian). Same for American Indian food. Thats not saying that authentic food is not good, but not many folks go to a restaurant for authentic rice-daal. Good is relative too. But we are talking about good that you want to write home about. To put "good" differently (in light of a judge's famous statement), you know it when you eat it.

Also not all food in a restaurant is worth raving about. Infact, most isnt. Infact, IMHO (and according to many others too), the average Indian restaurant in the MA area is mediocre. (I know thats a statistical impossibility, but its true). The food is generally better in other places such as NY, NJ (Iselin), CA (Bay Area), Chicago (Devon Ave), and I have heard, in many cities of Texas (good South Indian food). In light of the Technorati statement, "there are about 100 Indian restaurants in the Greater Boston area. Some of them have to be good". Part of this blog is also about the quest for the perfect kabab - seekh or otherwise!

More on these later. Lets start with some good food places now. Feel free to agree/disagree with the opinions here, or add your own places (and what you ate).
